After some thoughtful work
about the Summit of the Earth that was held in Johannesburg in 2003, the
students in year 2 of the scientific section were wondering whether our
nature corner was also influenced by the weather changes. The only way
to find out was to make meteorogical statements: they then decided to install
a weather station in the nature corner. First of all, they looked for some
information on the Internet, and afterwards contacted the Weather Club
of Belgium. During their option lessons in math and physics, they sketched
the plans of the meteorogical shelter, then, Kevin, a pupil in 3rd grade
in woodwork built it. A few basic measuring instruments were bought to
equip the meteorogical shelter
